If you do want to buy some nutes get FloraNova bloom, search ScottyBalls pineapple express grow journal for results on a grow using only that, although he was using a waterfarm, otherwise you're doing the right thing by keeping it simple. Bone meal will help too. Sounds like you mixed a pretty damn good soil man if you didnt need to feed till two weeks ago what you got in there

thanks for answering all my questions bro i gave u +rep. ill look into the floranova, ive seen it at the local hydro store. last question tho i sware haha. is pete moss acidic? im doing an experimental grow on some clones... and there pretty much in like 60% pete 30% perlite and 10% concentrated soil mix. the plant is losing a decent amount of leaves to the "rust" look and is kind of lolly-popping its self. i think this is due to using tap water tho... medium had a PH of 6

Ya the moss is acidic but ^ ph shouldnt be hurting too much (6.3 to 6.8 is ideal for soil). Rust look usually means Mg but can mean many other things too. too much calcium (i.e. "hard water") locks out Mg so that could be your prob good luck with it all thanks for the rep
