Nanners in that fist pic. You can try plucking them, but at only 4 weeks, you may just want to scrap it...What do you think of this. Can some1 give me some insight. 4th week of flowerView attachment 5033451

I actually opened that calyx up with my fingers and that was inside. Non of the other ones ive looked at on the plant were like that... I'm at a loss man. I pray it's not hermie. This thing was going crazy. (Still is)Nanners in that fist pic. You can try plucking them, but at only 4 weeks, you may just want to scrap it...
Went through whole plant and found one more suspicious spot So i plucked it off and put it in water. What happens if I touch the plant after plucking those. Is that a risk? The circle in the top photo, those are anthers(nanners). Male flower parts. One hundred percent certainty.
Pick them off. Watch for more.
Don't panic, it's not nearly as big of a disaster as many would like to believe.
Not in legal state so ordering is actually easier from online at attitude or Seedsman. Dinafem, sweet seeds, royal queen and ace seeds are the sources of my big ovule fem strains. Nobody else seems to be btichjng about ovules crackling though with these breeders. Perhaps they don’t care or don’t pay attention. Lol. Maybe they smoke with loud music on. I am going to order some regular seeds but really nervous to pull the trigger on a particular breeder or strain. Looking close at Tga subcool, Rare Dankness, brothers Grimm and Bodhi. For the longest time, I have been stressing thinking these were micro seeds that wouldn’t grow for some reason. I spent almost two years crawling around under the lights with a flash light going over every inch of my girls 2-3 times a week lookkn* for the the mysterious hidden hermie flower. Never found it. Lol. Relieved to discover they are ovules but now is the dilemma of finding a strain. As of now, seems my odds of big ovules are very high. It’s either me doing something to cAuse this (seems unlikely as plants thrive and look great) or just horrible luck
I'm having the exact same problem brother! Please believe me when I tell you that it's not the breeders or the strains. I've tried more breeders than I can list and starting with the most reputable (Sensi seeds, Dutch Passion, Greenhouse seeds etc) It has to be the cheap LEDs. That's the only thing that's changed across the board in the world of cultivationhave noticed in recent years that many strains I’ve grown have a penhead sIzed ball inside each and every calyx. It starts as green and turns brown as plant matures. These are not seeds and never grow in size. They are present inside the very first calyxes and inside every single calyx from the beginning of flower on. After much research and really having to dig for information, I came to the realization that these are ovules from which the pistils protrude. Bust open a calyx and inside will be a tiny ball with the hairs coming out. The bud I grow is top notch potency but these ovules do crackle a bit . This is not just noticeable by me. I’m wonderin* if anyone’s knows the cause for these bigger than normal ovules or if there is a strain you can recommend that will not have such big ovules. I’m tired of the crackling and having to explain to those who notice. Not everyone notices. I just want to get back to smoking “regular “ bud that doesn’t have the bigger ovules. I’ve come to the conclusion that this is a problem that is starting to show itself more and more in recent years with others as well. What is going on with the genetics that is causing this? I need a strain to not do this. Any input or help would be awesome as this has been driving me insane. I thought I had a nonstop hidden nanner issue for crop after crop after crop but these are most definitely not seeds. No signs of pollination. Calyx don’t get early swell or early red pistils. Never the stripe on center of calyx. Ovules. Damn ovules
They're in every strain by every breeder. It can't be the seeds. It has to be something to do with the setup. I think it's something about the light spectrum in the new cheap LEDs that everyone is now usingI agree, I noticed them in my sour diesel I grew last time, and they were huge
You're clearly not familiar with this problem then brother. There's always been ovules showing in the preflowers. But that's not even close to what this isLuckily I looked at marijuana anatomy 15 years before I grew anythjng (when I first smoked weed at 16), so I never had to worry unnecessarily about ovules, or sexual anatomy in general. It seems to be a struggle for many.
Crazy how people are so amazed and sceptical about a very elementary anatomical structure which is present in every calyx they have ever touched.
You should always research what you are interested in. It blows my mind when people have been smoking for years, have purchased hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on gear and nutrients, but can't decipher male or female pre flowers, and freak out when they see an ovule.
If that were true, everyone using them would have this issue.I think it's something about the light spectrum in the new cheap LEDs that everyone is now using
The majority of them do. The dealer growers won't acknowledge it as long as their bud still sells and nobody else knows what to do either. I think it's those cheap LEDs. I might try an expensive set, or maybe halogen lights? If that were true, everyone using them would have this issue.
