you can fix this.

the 23 watt bulb is a cfl, yes? if so, get it within 6 inches of the plant.

run it on a 18/6 scheudle.

next, dont over water it. let the soil dry out, then water with 1-2oz of water around the stalk a day, when the lights are on.

you can fix this thing. the plant has potentional. mircale gro is just as "hot" as fox farm, which many people use. dont worry about that for now. try and get it to grow well.

i would get these, and make some kind of fixture. for 6 dollars, its a no brainer. you will also need a small fan moving the heat out of the box.

ok guys this puppy has been taking off. Its a little taller than 2ft and seems pretty full. I still dont have alternating nodes or sign of sex. now I have a 45watt and a 32watt cfl about 10 inches above the plant. If it grows much taller I may have to switch to flowering early. This thing is going to be a beast.

No... less than 6 inches. He is already uses way too little light in the first place.

As you mentioned being stoned in the other thread, will point out that you must have had some good stuff.. as you're correcting bmeat - the one who gave 99.95% disasterous advice, 24/7.

Baka, when I said that it may be a tad hot for new seeds/baby seedlings on page 1.. was referring to the general populace, not one who's quite skilled in handling miracle gro, and knowing what to look for, how to fix it/dampen the potential burn until they can handle it. :P I never said it wouldn't work, just that burn is possible.

why do you have your light 10 inches above the plant.....this can cause stretching. Fluorescent lights should be as close as possible to the plant tops.... more like 1 or 2 inches....CFL won't burn the plants as they are just not that intense.

how old is your plant now?....you may want to consider switching to 12/12 flower mode.....can you post a recent pic?

just kbnow how to use it and dont over water/feed and mirical grow can give nice results
Strange...this MG stuff works alot like hydro, the more you water the more you feed. But unlike hydro you can't cut back on the nutes in the mix. If you gotta go MG soil mix go MG for seedlings.
