i like this place....

what was it like a year ago?

but i have to agree... there are alot of angry people on this site. people yell and make fun of people alot for nothing

the site seems the same, but lately ppl have been rather dickish. i mean as far as the site runs, i'd say its better than from a year ago, but its not the same with the people that are on the site, which is expected. the bigger the site gets the more not so cool ppl are on it.

i come on this site to try to help people, i go to icmag to watch real grows, people around here are kinda of dicks, theres a group of members that think theyre better than everyone else becuase they have 2,000 posts and 4 rep bars, i do agree somewhat, the funniest thing is besides maybe flojo, fdd, comercial (who bounced because everyones dicks) and a few others (if i missed you im sorry) all the grows here a amatuer at best ( not saying im an expert ) but i dont preach i know it all like many on here that grow a few times and think their king, sorry for the rant just my 2

I love this site, its really helpful and I never really had a problem with a member but one and hes banded now so I think its awesome

my complaint isnt spam its the fact that i have made like 3 diffrent threads asking people for help and noone ever replies to my questions or anything..i just spent 2000 bucks on good equipment and i figured the easy part would be some free advice. :-| but i suppose im just a noob that noone wants to give help to.....:evil:

honestly, thats basicly it. lol. when i was a new member i didnt get much help or repplies to questions. so I researched on my own, and read threads that were kinda like mine, and i got the education i needed. sometimes you have to help yourself. but remember you hold the power to change things, just because you didnt recieve help when you were a noob does not mean that you should do the same thing. i try and help everyone the best way I can. but if there is a thread that i would know nothing about, i dont even click on it because then you get all these views and no replys, which pisses me off personally. so bottom line is try and get most of the info by yourself, then when you do ask questions, they make more sense, and you can get a more clear answer, and it helps the person giving you the answer because he/she will not have make things complicated to explain the answer to you.

word up man. like i said i just spent probably one of the biggest sums of money in my life and i cant even get the time of day for help. in the end its always people trying to help themselves and not help you. i just need answers for simple questions to help me get up and growing!:-?

I try to help people as much as I can. But sometimes it's hard to decipher what people are trying to ask.
Either they don't include pics, or they don't describe in full detail what they want to know.
Or sometimes people ask to be taken by the hand to be shown exactly what to buy and what to do with step-by-step instructions.
I just don't have the typing power sometimes to explain in full detail on what to do in those situations.
Sometimes it's best to instruct them to read the same book that I read, which gave me the know how on how do it.
Then some of the things I've read I've developed my own technique.

All and all, Growing takes practice.
Your not gonna learn everything there is to know on this site.
So next time you type a question, explain in detail what you want to know.
Pics are a plus.
Be patient.
Then bump your question if your not getting any answers.

I also wanted to add,
I'm not on this site on a daily basis, sometimes I'll go a couple of weeks
without even logging on.
Now that it's almost summer, I'll be spending alot less time on this site anyways.

and for the record, im one of those assholes in question depending on who you ask....dont care, ive helped plenty of people who werent complete idiots. not here for friends, if i had any more friends it would start to be like work.


yo BTK, what on your mind? lets jack this whiner thread and turn it into your very own. how can we help? (pay attention to what bongjuice wrote...details, pics, ect...)
