This Soft Pots good for Growing?

You can checkout my current setup in my journal. I'm using 4" cubes now, but I'm going to use 6" next time. I think I'm going to cut out 6" sections of the slab and sit the cubes down inside instead of sitting on top though. I think that will keep the rootball happy, the plant can root out of two sides of the cube instead of just the bottom, and it will lower the height of the plants a few inches.

Nice. U cut the bottom wrapping off the slabs instead of slits in it fir drainage?

Yeah, the slabs are sitting in the trays and the wrappers are just hanging over the edges to keep high humidity and light out of the rootzone. I'm currently setting up an automated watering system, but once it's in place I'm going to seal the wrappers to the trays with tape.

I didn't like leaving the wrapper on and cutting slits in the bottom. They would either clog up or be too big and the water wouldn't have a chance to get wicked very well. After I harvested and opened them up, a lot of the rockwool looked like it had never been touched by water let alone roots.

What if you put 2 drippers in the empty spots on the slab
