This summer I want to grow a huge plant outdoors. Advice?

My thought being that the light duration will be increasing when they get outside but it will about 13 hours. I figure if I ran them at 14 or 15 the shock of change might set them off flowering. It is all an experiment here so we will find out.

I have very limited outdoor experience. But last year almost anything I started indoor went in to bloom the moment I moved it outside. Nothing reveged even what was set out across the solstice. At lat 36° we get a max of 15h20m of daylight you will have a little more being farther north but the day time hrs don't really start to change drastically until you get above about 50° N/S. Best recommendations would to be get a flood light with a timer to interrupt the darkness for 1-2hrs in the middle of the night then remove it when ready to bloom. Make sure to do it with enough time to beat the frost figure 9weeks minimum for indicas and 12 for sativas stay way from true landrace sativas that can run 20+

I'm in upstate ny in the adirondacks, it gets cold quick up here. I start my outdoor from clone mid March. They go outside memorial day weekend. Any sooner and they flower. Put them right in the ground, just dig a big hole and put your mix in it. Don't forget a fence, or the deer will chew it up and spit it all over the place.

I'm surprised that fence stops the deer, any issues with smaller herbivores, rabbit, groundhogs, squirrels(fuck squirrels) do ya have a yard cat to keep them at bay?

I am going to experiment, I do want to try some landrace strains. My thought now might start in tent with high light duration and pop them outside at end of June. If what holds is true they will start to flower and should finish up before first frost.

So assuming I'll need around 120 days, that would mean if I can a plant indoors for several weeks, then transfer it outdoors by 6/1, I should be in good shape. Right?

Serious seeds serious 7 great sativa high! Will make you horny and starts to flower in early July. Also freeze 7.

This is a one of the greenhouses that has been replanted in July after we harvested our first light Dep crop. The first crop was started as clones in Jan and planted into the greenhouse in Feb we ran lights till early April. Pulled tarps till early June & harvested end of June. The plants below were started as clones in May and taken out to the farm in June and waited around the outside the greenhouse until we harvested 1st crop. Re-planted as 3fters & harvested these plants in Nov.

So once trim camp opens in late June, it pretty much runs continuously until Dec......"Welcome to the hotel California, you can check out any time you like, but you can never leave"..

The big fence goes all the way around. That little one is what I ripped up to put the big one in. I just used it for the garden. Few nails sticking up on the cross members at the access spots. Sure to rip a scrotum open

Our farms are very remote in the mountains in Northern California, and it's the local population of bears and mountain lions that give the trimmigrants a startle every once in a while. One year all the trimmers took to sleeping inside a metal 40ft shipping container because a large black bear made nightly visits to their tents...tug on the foot of just one of the trimmers sleeping bags in the middle of the night and they all go nuts.:grin:

Like cannoli with a soft squishy inside

I was thinking it looked a little like Oregon. Had a friend who owned a bamboo nursery there. Your pictures are very interesting and enjoyable, would never want to be involved with a commercial operation. I enjoy the whole process but would find that customers would suck the joy out of it.

I have raccoon and spotted lantern fly issues can see the city from my backyard. My garden workers are praying mantis and ladybugs
