I watched a debate in the 60's staged by the Upper class students. The Proposition they debated was: Resolved: That war is that institution whcih has benefitted mankind more than any other institution. On of their arguments was that it create's full employment. What the negative side failed to address was the debt that was incurred in order to have that full employment. The rich got richer, and the poor have the debt.
The savings and loan collapse, and the current problems with the sub-prime markets are examples of what is wrong. Everyone wants to know what the "Federal Government" is going to do to bail out the poor home owner. I say, let the sob that loaned the money in the first place take the hit. Either they work out something 'reasonable or 'they' lose their money. Why should you and I 'pay' for the stupidity of the lendor. We let 'them' mainly the 'news media' convince us, that falling home prices are bad for the economy, we won't be able to go as far in debt if they do, we won't be able to get our 'refy' like that is good fiscal policy. Well bullshit, let the housing market collapse.
" Bad news from Wall Street as the price of stocks fell...." Bulshit, if the price drops enough maybe I could afford some, sorry about your loss. It all fits together for me anyway. VV

Great post Blaze, the more I hear this guy, the more I like him. Don't worry VV, the Government has no intentions of bailing out the homeowners that got fucked with the sub-Prime scam, It may bail out the lenders though. Pretty much I heard Bush say it wasa the home owners fault for entering into these loan agreements and the government would do nothing to help them, if they lost their homes, oh well. Now is that really a compassionate conservative?~LOL~.

The loan companies that made fraudulent loans should be held liable for fraud and thier executives and loan officers procecuted and placed in jail. The borrowers who lied on their applications, providing the lenders were federally charted, should be placed into handcuffs by the FBI and prosecuted for defrauding a federally charted savings and loan. Any Realtor or real estate agent who abetted the fraudulent borrowers or lenders should be prosecuted as well. Let the chips fall where they may ... let the lenders eat the foreclosed properties, let the homeowners suffer the consequences, just like they would have if they lost on the crap tables in Vegas and keep the federal government out of the equation.

That's all well and great, but did anybody watch these links? It explains how the corrupt Federal Reserve works and how every person in history that tried to fix our corrupt money system was assasinated. Ron Paul would be next if he won presidency. It also shows how every war in our history, including the current one, was manufactured for money.

it's the loan companies shitty tatics that are at the culprits of a scam. but its the homeowners fault for getting scammed, for not reading thoroughly. the federal government must be involved because it is their money being loaned. but predatory loan practices must be dealt a lot harsher penalties then the homeowners. they are gonna have fucked up credit for 10 years. in this day and age, that is enough penalty.

WTF are you guys talking about. This is supposed to be about those video links i posted. Nobody watched them?
I watched them, blaze. I had to kinda laugh ... that message on the blimp that read: "Who's Ron Paul?" reminded me of Ayn Rand's book "Atlas Shrugged" when they kept asking "who's John Galt?" Pretty much the same thing ... I mean, liberty devotees are liberty devotees no matter if the name is Ron Paul or John Galt. :)

At least watch Part#2 from 3:50 thru 6:20. It's the best part. It says that the federal income tax is unconstitutional and that there's no law on record saying you have to pay it. I don't think I'll be paying this year:hump:

Be prepared for a knock on your door. Legal or not, they'll still come after you for it.Even if a lot of us stopped paying, they'd single out a few thousand and make examples out of them, Divide and conquer.

Yeah definitely. It's probably not a good idea if you got weed growing in your back room. But, if I was legal everywhere else and could afford a good lawyer, I wouldn't pay. They interviewed ex-IRS agents and none of them pay their taxes because they said there's not a law anywhere stating you have to pay it.

Everyone they have taken to court has been convicted. To lose one case would set a precedent and open the floodgates. Don't throw yourself in front of the Bus. There may be an obscure case somewhere that the defendent won, (I'm sure some dork will point that out to me) but I'm not aware of any, and dont want to test the governments resolve on this issue. I pay so little taxes anyway that it is not a huge issue to me at this time, my pre-retirement income years, it really pissed me off.

They won't knock on your door. You can get away with not filing for years. Then, you'll get a letter with a bill, plus interest, plus penalties. If you don't pay up, they will attach your bank accounts, your stock portfolio and your real estate. If you still don't pay up, they will come out to confiscate your property. If you resist that confiscation, they will kill you. Welcome to Amerika the land owned by the International Bankers.
