Thoughts on C2O?

My landlord actually gave me the go to put my tent in the same room as the boiler and water heater.
I was wondering if their would be true benefits to that?

Thanks,

Well, Thoughts on Co2......In relation to what you ask....

The only way to actually "see" if the Co2 is higher there would be to buy a meter.....Not cheap....
My guess would be ,, no. The water heater and the furnace are vented out....they have to be,,,,Carbon Monoxide is another and more deadly byproduct of combustion......So there would be very, very little to no increase in Co2 in that room......

If you have the coins.....Yes, invest in a tank and a controller.

I'm growing in coco for the first time. I just watered the 5 gallon smart pot about 1 1/4 gallon mixed with a tsp of fox farms big grow. Before you ask, the coco grow nute hasn't gotten here yet. I am using a 400 watt MH for now.
A Sworth or Tone, if you have any advice, I'm listening, that's why we're here right?

Unfortunately the budget of a disabled vet. Next watering I'll give her a gallon and a half. I do know the output water at plant bottom is 6.1ph

That plant will never drink a gallon and a half. You could drown it watering like that. Since your in a rally large container and the plant is so small it will have trouble drying out. Water less, like a cup or two at a time so the plant goes wet dry wet dry. Oxygen needs into the root zone more frequently. That will make it grow more. As for nutes id be giving it less than quarter doses and not every time. The problem with having such a large container is that you cant flush the grow medium without drowning the plant. Coco needs some runoff so the salts dont accumulate in the rootzone and burn and cause lockout from saturation. Its going to be a tough start for her but if you let it be wet/dry often and dont overfertilize your going to be fine. One more thing, if you keep the temps up past 78 and have good air movement it will help dry the root zone out faster. Good luck.

Want a real boost in co2 ? Lean the vent of the water heater a bit( I knew someone who did this and theyre still alive by the way). The amount of co is very small and probably won't even set your co detector but the co2 will be high.
Regulations allow natural gas operated appliances to be unvented up to a certain btu.
Dig deep enough and I bet you could find the thread about venting your water heater to your grow room.
Not that I practice this or recommend it..
