Welcome to RIU

they are looking good....but not sure why you put so little soil in that clear plastic cup (pic 1)

BTW: clear containers are not good as you want it dark for the roots....maybe consider covering up with duct tape

I was asking my self the same question the other day lol I want to use 2 gallon pots but I only had the plastic containers at the moment so know I have to transplant them but I don't wanna stress em too hard so I was thinking of just cutting the plastic containers off and put them in hard plastic pots is that the right way or did I fuck it all up ahaha

Welcome to Roll It Up.

They're looking good so far. I feed mine with bokashi bin run off and go go juice (fish + kelp + beneficial bacteria) that's every second or third water. I use a super soil recipe though. Don't need to add nutes all that often.

I've heard of super soil don't sound too easy for me to make in the middle of the arizona desert lol barely any stores period let alone hydro shops that go go juice can it be used this early in its life?

Super soil is just soil you build up with various nutrients and activate with micro herd ecology. Basically it's soil with a lot of beneficial bacteria and fungi.

I got my ingredients from the local hardware store. Cost me about $150 to make up 40L. And the thing with this stuff is that you don't have to throw it out after every run. You can actually use it a couple of times before it needs to be enriched with a fresh batch of nutrients.

Using super soil. You can go almost the majority of the plants life without needing to add anything extra except pHd water. Though it is best to feed the microherd with some form of sugar or carb every 2-3 waterings to keep the symbiotic relationship between the roots and the herd going strong.

Your soil should have enough nutrients to get it through about 3 weeks. If you're only feeding it pH 6.5 water. And it starts to yellow for no reason. That means the plant is hungry for nitrogen. And maybe other things too. But mainly nitrogen.

When you start to feed them. Start with 1/4 of what is recommended for the equivalent size pot you've got.
Or rather. The collective size of your pots if you're feeding them all at once.

This is technically my first grow in that I sprouted the seed and planted it as opposed to my first plant which was all accidental. I first sprouted the seed in wet napkin then transferred to plastic cup then to the final grow pot.

- Seed from Sativa hybrid 9 Pound Hammer
- Basic seeding soil.
-Lithonia HPS Lighting - 150 watts full-spectrum
-Fox Farms: Ocean Forest soil

yeah...I would get rid of those clear cup soon than latter...and I agree what you said, cut the cup apart to limit the stress to the plant
