Thoughts on the lowryder strains...

Has anyone here grown/smoked either lowryder or lowryder 2, and what were your thoughts on the dwarf? I was considering giving a grow a try and would like some more information beforehand.

From what I've heard it's a pretty moderate difficulty grow, a bit high maintenance.

Truly though the high is something that makes any labor worth while. I had the pleasure of enjoying some Lowryder my buddy's mom has been perfecting for a decade and it was an amazing high. Full on cerebral and body goodie.

its cannabis ruderalis and even jorge cervantes seems to not have high praises. maybe just knowing the history of it being ditch weed or maybe high thc and no taste as others have suggested.

here's a lowryder #2 i have going at the moment. looks okay to me, and smells real skunky.

this is 5 1/2 weeks in, 2 1/2 left according to the joint doctor but we shall see about that...

Hey I know there was a site someone posted a link to that sells only Lowryder strains and crosses. Can someone post that again?

That's a nice looking plant you have there morp. How difficult has the grow been so far?

From everything I've been able to gather on both, it seems that they both have moderate THC levels (10% or so). If that is true, I don't see how it could possibly be cannabis ruderalis.

its been very easy. i germed 5 seeds, all of them cracked in a day or so. i got 4 males and 1 female. not the best ratio.
however, this female is a nice specimen, very quick growing and smells nice from day one. ill post in my journal with how she turns out, keep your eye on it

What bank did you get your seeds from? It seems like they're about impossible to find. They appear to be sold out at just about every place that carries them.

lowryder and lowryder #2 are made by the Joint Doctor. there are however many lowryder hybrids, masterlow, power stout etc..

Cheap Lowryder - find best price on Lowryderseeds a few lowryder hybrids here, never used this site though, dont know of its reliability.

lowryder seeds ,
lowryder 1 & 2 and other hybrids are on here. very reliable.


just look around on the internet a bit and youll find somewhere with a lowryder, lowryder 2 or another lowryder hybrid. if i were you id steer clear of the original lowryder.

Has anyone ever had any problems with lowryder 2 not germing? I ordered 10 from dr. chronic and germed with paper towel method, rockwool and also by putting some in a glass of water and got nothing, not even a cracked seed. I was wondering if anyone else has had any problem with seeds not cracking...

The Lowrider seeds are a novelty item.
They are just popular now because they produce bud so quickly automatically without forcing to flower.

I have not heard much on the quality.

I took them as something for a grower who sells.

I prefer the more exotic myself.
there are other stains that flower early.
They do not auto flower like the ruderalis but they are early.

Lowryders flower automatically, you never have to change the light schedule from 24/0 and you get full buds.

From sprout to bud in ten weeks.

The Lowryder #2 is supposed to be better than the original.

Masterlow is supposed to be 18%. It is an awesome tasting smoke, and easy to grow.

Don't buy them from soulseeds, they're selling counterfeits, and there have been problems with the knock-offs. Same with hanf.

Dr. Chronic, and some others, like seedsman sell the authentic seeds.

I'm dying to try the new one in the works, Bluestreak........ Blueberry x Masterlow. Due out soon.

Well I have a couple LowRyder 2 plants growing and it doesnt seem to be autoflowerin. I mean its been about 4 weeks and i see no sign of bud. now either i got a counterfeit or i just gotta wait.

Tell us where you got the seeds from, so no one else will have to make the mistake of buying them from there.

If they didn't flower by now, they're definitely not lowryders.
