3 1/2 weeks for 6

4 1/2 for the bigger one

2 1/2 weeks for the smallest one, not the one with the pic on it's own, but the other smaller one.

the short squat one is directly under the light so it's short but with the same # of nodes as the others.

$120 all together. picked it up at a commerical electrical supply shop. it's used (primarilly) to light construction sites or underground work like in a sewer (i assume) or something like that. oh, and $12 on the plug from HD.

well, they're pretty much the same hight except for the one that sits directly under the light. but it's got the same node number. and remember, they're different ages. the biggest is a week older and just came out of 48 dark (starts 12/12 today).

as for the light, it's obviously MH. i assume 400 or 600 watts. looked all over the package but i guess construction foremen aren't concerned with wattage. MH is MH right? so i assume the spectrum is appropriate.

any suggestions on where to pick up a conversion bulb? HD? Lowe's? Hydro?
also, is it a horrible thing to continue with MH during flowering? i don't intend to, but if i do for just a week or two (if i can't find a bulb quick enough) will that be really bad?

actually there are a few different bulbs in spectrum's that are favorable for the entire grow. i have for 3 grows now used MH but i use a sunmaster warm bulb which has the right spectrum for flowering....MH is great for VEG but will hurt your yield greatly if its stuck in the blue spectrum of light. I this time will get the conversion bulb too see the difference. this i get at local hydro shop

you can google for a conversion bulb and order from anyplace. there should be a nameplate on the side of the ballast. im pretty sure it would be a 400w. m59 bulb. you can get by for a couple weeks with it. either get a conversion bulb or an hps ballast.

any site you'd reccomend? are you able to tell what bulb i'd need given the plug in? not to burden you, but i'm new to this all. all is appreciated.

ive never used a conversion bulb. i have both MH and HPS ballasts so i just swap out ballasts and bulbs. some of these conversion bulbs are 360 watt to run on your 400watt MH light. i would keep the 400 watt MH for veg. and get a 600 watt HPS for flower.
but if you still want a conversion bulb here is a couple of sites.
