Three Leafs... Not Five or Seven... Is this good or bad?

Ive read on several threads where people are claiming that having a three leaf plant indicates a rare strain, and I have also read that it could indicate a mutated plant that will have a very low yield. I was wondering if anyone has grown any three leaf plants to flower and how the yields turned out.

She's like flowering now. It's amazing. The yield on it will be epic.

Nah in all seriousness, my plant started with only 3 leaves and as it got larger out came 5 and 7 node leaves. You should be fine. I believe its a genetics thing. I wouldn't go so far as to say they are rare.

I've grown a three leaf plant outside and then took a clone of it and grew it inside too. it was a bagseed. it yielded well and was pretty damn potent but it had no flavor. three leaf plants arent good or bad they're just different.

I have an entirely 3 leafed plant Which some people call "ducksfoot" but a real ducksfoot
strain is webbed leaves lterally. But my plant is flowering and stil producing 3 fingered leads and yes the yield will be smaller
I think but this came (in my case I think) from a very low light condition causing early stress till I saved her.
I do believe she's going to be quite potent but will have to wait to find out. Check out my thread there's pics of her there
she probably got stuntted somehow or another during early veg. Could be the strain but highly unlikely

I have a young three-legger as well in my garden. This one started off as the smallest by far, and now it's blossoming into one of the biggest in the garden. However this particular plant seems to be mutated slightly, in the way that the leaves form. Two of the points are considerably larger while the third is somewhat smaller and pointing away from the other two. Think of it like this, if a normal leaf could be represented by holding three fingers up(index,middle,ring),while this tri-leaf would more resemble a hand with two fingers(index & middle) along with a thumb...
