Three node sites?! Anyone seen this before?

So I am doing a phenohunt right now. I am doing zero training, no topping, nothing. Just rushing them into flower. I cut my clones tonight, transplanting to 3gal pots tomorrow, and then flipping Monday, or whenever they show that they're comfortable again.

Anyway, I did pinch/supercrop one plant, and for whatever reason, right above the pinch, I am now getting 3 node sites?! Never seen it before, neither have two of my buddies who have been growing for years and use similar methods... lol. What the hell is going on here?!

Giving this the ole bumparooski. I see a few people looked but no one has chimed in and I am really curious. lol.

unstable genetics triggered by the stress of the crop? i have a fan leaf on one plant with 7 parts instead of 5 lol

Genetic abnormality, I had a completely flat stem on one of my plants before. Definitely is weird looking though right?
