So what’s the benefit of water? And how confident are you the plants like this rainforest to desert climate shift. I’d battle thrips before I ever did something like your recommending.

Close to it, it all depends on the vpd the higher the temp the more humidity it's only day 35 it's barely in flower. Chances of the plant catching mildew at high temps is low

I would not recommend beginning the trichome extraction prior to harvest but that's me. It's another reason I don't spray oil on them while in flower. OP is 35 days into flower. But in veg sure, speaking of which I have a kaffir lime I need to spray outside.
 
I'd let it dry out tho after a day or so then wait a couple days like I said originally I wouldn't run it for more than 24 hours like that both a day and a night cycle. I should rephrase before op goes and runs it for ten days straight you could run a day and skip a day for maximum effect just make sure theres air moving around in the tent.
 
I've never had to treat any plants for bugs when the plants are flowering. I grow just a few plants and I look at them several times everyday. I keep an immaculate grow environment and IF I see a bug of any kind I'm very surprised. But many years ago, I did have a few thrips show up in veg. I treated them by dusting the entire plants with diatomaceous earth until the thrips disappeared and then I rinsed the plants with a sprayer with water.

I have heard that some people have bought one of those small steamers that are used to kill bedbugs and had some success to kill mites....maybe it would work for thrips too...? food for thought

You give awful advice.
 
You can safely use Spinosad in flower for thrips. If you can spray it on the undersides of your leaves, that's the best option because that's where thrips live. OTOH, if you have a lot of inflorescence and can't get to the undersides, just drench the entire grow in Spinosad.

At chop time, set up a three bucket bud wash, and you'll be good to go.

I had thrips three times when I was growing autos - I would leave the flaps to the tent open and the little bastards would invade even though the door to the garage was rarely open. Spinosad nailed them.
