Ok After reading about a million threads I think I have thrips. Heres a shot of a leaf. Only two out of ten plants are showing these signs. There is what looks like a snail trail on the top as well as a few brown spots. The leaf tip is pale and there are a few light spots as well. the underside has tiny black dots and the leaf seems brittle. I'm trying to figure this out before the rest of the plant is affected. I'm using happy frog soil, no nutes yet, I only water when soil is dry (2-3 days) My water is ph 6.5. I'm an avid believer in keeping it simple. My room is sterile and clean. CFL lighting. Any opinions would be great. I could accept that it might be a food deficiency since the soil is 10 days old now but I find that unlikely.
