I prefer 18/6 myself
I was wondering why they didn’t stretch. I prefer 18/6 also. I think when I was plugging in other things on my strip I bumped the switch. Now it’s been at least two weeks and now there in early flower. I switched it back and now I guess I’ll see what happens.

Autos will run on any schedule you wish...the quality of the light is as important as duration. Kinda depends on how much you're willing to spend to grow weed ...after 3 weeks of 24/0 T5ho, all my plants, autos &photos, go into a flower tent on 12/12. Sure I could spend twice as much and get perhaps 25% more yeild but I"m happy with 2 oz per plant in 2-3 ltr pots.

Autos do not. Even one of the top auto breeders in the world grow with lights on 24/7 , Mephisto. I have tried both ways and have always had netter&quicker growth with 24 /0 . More DLI the better.

Yet some say 20-4... It’s strain all dependant.

As with most things there’s no definitive way to grow weed.

Learn to read the plants. One of my plants likes to fall sleep right on the 16th hour mark every day. Other 2 don’t mind and the other is perky no matter what!

As with all things experience is what matters - because even information you hear was ones own experience.
