anyone know what some of the better distillers are for making tincture with 190 proof? my friend has a decent one that cost him about $300 - 400. i dont know the brand and i havent seen him in a while though. i'm looking to spend up to about 5 but less expensive isnt bad. just want something that is known to work good. the one my friend has was pretty nice because the alcohol would come back in a container and you could re use it. i dont have much knowledge on them but want to start.

i did make some with an electric plug in burner on low but it turned out sub par and had what looked like res chunks in it. it still got me high when i smoked it but it wasnt as good as my friends.

thanks

Smoking tincture? I am confused... Look in the Concentrates and Extracts forum, way down the forum page.

I am guessing you are trying to make a hash oil or shatter type product.

Ever heard of an e-cig? I'm pretty sure those take tincture.

Isn't that just a fancy crockpot?
Its like a crockpot and a blender in one so you no longer have to stir for hours. Its fully automated for multiple cannabis uses as well so it makes everything extremely easy.

Well for vaping, not really a tincture in my book. But i make ISO oil. I mix it with everclear in a ramekin inside a warm crock pot with a little water in the crock pot. When the everclear is about half evaporated, I add propylene glycol, mix it well, and let the rest of the alcohol evap out. Voila!

Works great in my vape.

Yup, dad's got that......Be SURE you use FOOD GRADE glycerine or propylene glycol when making concentrates for use in e-cigs or vape pens!

Remember that with alcohol your putting flammable vapor in the air. Ever seen an alcohol fire? it's almost invisible! BAD thing! Be VERY careful!!!!!

The magicalbutter machine also takes the separating stage away too. Put everything in and it all comes out ready to go. No mus to fus and all you do is clean it. It works WAY better then a crock pot and I'm glad I don't use mine for that any more!
