Tincture

got a oz of tincture from a good source for $20. not too sure what it is supposed to do since its my first experience with this stuff.
Its sweet and has a hint of cannabis, supposedly made with White Widow, but so far I have taken 1.5 eye droppers under the tongue and really not impressed, its been an hour or so, well Inglorious Basterds came on at 11 so its almost an hour.

Anyone have experience with the effects compared to vap, smoking, eating??

Its a feeling I can work on for sure, a slight body buzz and a little hint of foggyness up stairs.

Must be diluted or crap, I have a few different tincs, one of which will take you to space after 1/2 teaspoon.

ya I am not really impressed given the fact that I have not smoked any good stuff in a few weeks so my tolerance is down from a last month.
Does it take long to kick in?

Depends on the tinc, some you can feel after 10 minutes, and peak in 45 mins, but die after 3 hours. There are others that you dont feel for an hour, but peak at hour 2 and last for 8 hours. Depends on glycerine, alcohol %, etc and strain used, how long it's been evaporating, if it's been cut with water, etc.

What they said. I tend to find high proof alcohol tinc tends to be a bit stronger than glycerine tinc (what you have). Does take a bit to kick in though.

Yeah, the one that I have that is really strong was made using 190 proof grain alcohol, and sat with the buds for 3 months (cold method). I let some of the alcohol evaporate, so if someone who only smokes once a week takes a drop or two under the tongue, they will be VERY stoned.

I had one from the clinics twice just because it tasted DELISH! Didnt do anything but give a lil buzz. Tasted of hash though and I trusted the venders to there place

Sounds like they just cut it with water... or they made the tinc with trim.

Completely agree with this. My friend loves to spend big bucks on the super tasty glycerine tinc from the clinics and then smokes so much bud he doesn't realize they had no effect. Frowns at my grain alcohol tinc because it tastes too strongly of bud but then hallucinates off the stuff.

Yea it prolly shouldnt be to sweet... I made sum and its fukn awful if done right... But it hits quick and lasts a long time.

A half teaspoon is a lot of drops!! I use about 4-5 drops under my tongue, it comes on pretty fast and doesn't last real long. It depends on the stuff itself and your tolerance. I am one of those unlucky people that doesn't get high eating pot, doesn't matter how much or what...it has never worked for me, but I do get a buzz with the tinc.

To answer the OP's Q there are several things you can do with it. Since it sounds like you have a glycerine tinc you can do the following

1) take it straight
2) drop it into your soda, juice, enery drink
3) mix it into a milk shake
4) you can put a few drops ontop of a bowl or, you can make moon rocks(instructions follow)
5) mix it with a beeswax and some cocnut oil to make a nice lip balm

Moon Rocks(Not my idea just bought them, loved them and asked how they are made)

Cannabis Glycerine

In a glass container, Add your buds in one even layer. Begin dripping tincture over your buds untill they become saturated on all sides. Toss the now sticky buds in some yummy kief untill they are comepletly cover in "dust". Allow to dry completly before consuming. When complete they will resemble dark odd shap rocks covered in a golden dust like something from outerspace. They are best used to top bowls but can be smoke straight. These will FUCK YOU UP!

I'll be making some of those moon rocks for the St. Paddy's Day party. That sounds like good shit!
