Tiny white nats

I have these tiny white mats flying in and on my plant. Never has this problem before. Any thoughts?

Are they gnats or flies? Gnats lay eggs in soil, flies lay eggs underside of leaves..

Diatomaceous earth & sticky traps.

Neem oil is what you want.
Spray them
Soak em with it ,,Under and on top of leaves.
Used properly will get rid of them real quick.
