Tips for growing critical jack auto,short rider

TIPS on these two strains would be appreciated. I WANTED TO KNOW IF THERE is a chance you'll get a male or not? Whats good lighting does it matter? Im a first timer first grow I jumped in head first but I want to come out with some good green. I have 400 Watt mh 4×4×79 inches grow tent using general organics go box for nutes.

Yes and no.. I want to say more but I think if you reason this question to yourself, you may already have the answer.

Check out my 'Critical jack Vs Critical+' thread in this forum if u wana see some pics etc. This my second run of Critical jack (34days in), I have a pic on that thread of my first critical jack at harvest and a smoke report. Newer autos may be better but Critical jack is a very dependable yeilder, in a decent sized pot 1and a half or 2 ounces per plant is reasionable to expect. 60-70days from seed is correct. Havent really heard of males appearing but I'm sure there is a very small chance.

It seems organics is the norm for autos so your good there.

A 400w is good, and I'm sure the fact that it is a MH woulnt make a huge difference. Perhaps an HPS would be more suitable.

20hours of light is best for Crit Jack as the breeder says aswell

I have hps but was going to use that for flowering, or should I use the hole time? See I have other non autos growing with it but let me know and thanks for the input.

Do I have to change the lighting during flowering? Do you know anything about short Ryder? thanks
