Hey i just got Pipi Pyramid feminized seed from attitude and also got Road runner auto flower as the freebie. i decided to germinate the RR first since its an auto flower. (first time grower here) and i was just wondering what some tips are to keep the plant short since i have height restrictions to about 2 1/2 feet. im not too clear on what LST is or how to do it. so any links or tips or ANYTHING will be greatly appreciated!

thanks alottt

LST means low stress training. It's just a process of tieing down the branches during veg so it exposes more nodes to light and creats a big bushy plant. It's an option if you have height restrictions.

For autoflowering, you pretty much have to let it ride its course. For regular females, when you clone a plant, the clones tend to be shorter than from seed.

If not auto, take them straight into flowering as soon as they have leaves. Also, keep the lights at optimum distance from the plants to avoid stretching. Other than that, LST is the way to grow.

clones to tend to be shorter at all it all depends on how long the veg is for.

i'm rockin 3 42-watt cfl's on my baby right now (papaya from nirvana) and it's day 14 with none, literally NO, space between the nodes. it's up to about 5 or 6 nodes now, i'm gonna top it tomorrow for 4 main colas as i too have height restrictions (stealth rubbermaid). anyway, i've had my cfl's no further than 4 inches from her at any time. basically, keep the light as close as possible without touching it and you've got yourself a squat ass bush

Don't grow it big.............

I run with a no veg cycle, and my plants are always too tall, like 30 plus inches, I have been spraying with B-52, a advanced nutes product and it is keeping them way shorter, no stretch at all, it's nice...Good luck JR
