Blurple lights work OK, not great. I could get about .5-.6 grams per watt used off of a GalaxyHydro 300 blurple. After changing my light from blurple to cob it's closer to 1.0 grams per watt used.
True story. I've used low profile kitty litter pans before and it seemed like the plants naturally stayed shorter even though they were 4+gallonFor sure you have to use a very big container....
I suggest you a "deeper" one instead of a wide one... the biggest single plants i've seen where in deep containers like big trash cans.
It's known that cannabis likes to spread it's roots deep instead of wide... wider contained leads to much squat and bushier plants...
