Tips on re-using coco?

Old coco just goes into my compost/vegetable beds now. As mentioned above can get away with such a small amount of coco per plant with proper irrigation cheaper and easier doing it that way

What do you regard as proper irrigation for how much coco?

Sift it through 1/8 inch mesh, wash it and buffer it. May have to add a bit of new coco as it does deteriorate.

I just mean proper in regards to be able to keep up with plants in full flower with smaller amounts of medium
