Tips/Suggestions/Opinions on making worm farm/compost pile

So I know there are some threads regarding these topics, and I have had a worm farm going in the past plus a small compost pile that didn’t amount to much.

The whole thing is realistically quite simple, but there are some intelligent people here that I would love to hear from. Besides the quality of the compost/EWC, this hobby is just too awesome.
