Hey bro, On my page is pics of my grow(gallery) and journal..

400w HPS 8 plants hopefully less when they show sex. can afford to lose 2 for space as nasty as that sounds :p
Bloom Nutrients thr same as the veg ones in the gallery, some epsom salts, dolmite lime... just to keep it balanced. Water every 2nd day with nutrients every second water... (I add nutrients and the next day they are about 5-10 cm taller)

Finding lots of stretch and yes 5 days into 12/12 sorry not flower just flowering schedule.

Seeds are from a mate some from banks in amsterdam but not femanized. Good seeds tho.

Soil is African Violet mix with some good potting soil mixed as i found out the mix had already added nutes that i did not like the sound of,.

Re-potted to 15 litre pots. Plenty of room to grow to the roof so not worried about size but bud sites seem to be reaching for the stars.

You should be worried about size.

The style of growing along with wattage of light will determine how short or tall you allow your plants to get.
A 400w only has around 24" of usable light penetration measured from your bulb down. Meaning you don't really want your plants any taller than 2ft because your light is more than likely 10" away from the tops of your plants which means you have 14" of plant material to work with.

8 plants in 15litre pots under 1 400w is cutting it too close.

I hope for your sanity that you get 4 males. Otherwise it will be TETRIS time in a few weeks as you will need to rotate them all.

Stretch during the switch to 12/12 can be limited by doing a few things
1.you can keep using an MH lamp for 2weeks
2.keep using your veg nutes for these 2weeks
3.keep your light as close as possible
4.keep daytime and nighttime temperatures as close as possible.

There is no easy "buy this bottle" during flowering to keep everything chugging along, you need to feed what they want when they want it. PK13/14 is good to use during flowering but dont over do it or you'll burn them.

Depending upon whether you are full organic or not, some Potassium Silicat is usefull during flowering, it's also called LIQUID SILICON. It helps strengthen cell walls and is a good pH up alternative.

If you are organic then some friendly bacteria inoculations would also be beneficial. Mycorrhizae and Trichoderma are good.

Other than this I've checked your blog and plants look ok. Well done.

they are looking good but the pic in your blog is from before 12/12. can you throw up a more recent pic.?

the stretch will be over usually after around 1 1/2 to 2 weeks of 12/12.

you can do a little tieing over of some of the taller ones to get a more even canopy.

Will upload a recent pic later sorry guys... I have found 4 males so far and one im pretty sure is heading in that direction too... So far two of them have lots of hairs starting to grow which was really cool to see!!! Thats why i started with 8 big ones caus atm it looks like i will end with 3 or 4 females and one female clone... which is chilled as the clone is around 10cm high.. Rather go big and end up with a decent amount of females then grow 3-4 and end up with none.. but i get what your saying about light and stuff..
