It does create male flowers eventually if applied. Probably not in time to self pollinate unless the treated plant is put into a very extended flower cycle. I had very spotty results in terms of the male flowers actually creating viable pollen - most pollen sacs were not fully developed or lacked pollen.

Same.

@OP: try the search option, we had several threads about it over the past year alone with both good and bad experiences. Some strains respond better than others as with many things. I still got half a bottle and will use it this year probably but I do plan to use STS instead in the future.

Silver thiosulfate seems to produce similar results. It's probably because male flowers don't all ripen at the same time.
