hell ya bro.. isnt always nice when the "big picture" falls in place?? you can see the most efficient way of doing something.. even when its been right in front of your face the entire time?!

sounds like a plan tho.. both are damn good sized rooms.. it'll give you a ton of space to work, for equipment, and for your girls to really stretch out to their max potential...

the work does suck.. i feel for you there.. especially when trying to work around exsisting grows.. i had the same problem when i was installing my wall and hanging the lights up... hopefully its not to much of an inconvience for you..

make sure to post some pics up when you get the work done.. i know you are somewhat hessitant to post a lot right now.. so ill let it slide...


oh.. i want to be a bubble head.... it only seems right.. but isnt the bubble heads pretty much a dwc club??

dwc with the addition of feeder tubes. its no joke for veg . i have stalks the size of say a large carrot, with 4weeks of veg under this system. it can be time consuming, as each system is its own rez, say 10 5 gal buckets would be a real bitch to drain weekly, but i have a solid plan, to eventually switch to al be fuct flood and drain, and for now *next cycle, i will modify some buckets to have bulkhead fittings on ea, so i can drain to 1 rez for cleanout purposes. i will get pics up. i aint even trppn no more bro. had some drama going on so i thought to be cautious. all over the cloudy days bro. working on getting a massive greenhouse up on acreage, for spring. say 40x60' ?

veg room almost up..couple lil things to do tommorow. im sure i can think of a million additions still. but its up. now i need to finish the other side of the new wall, which will be inside the new flower room. then i can rip existing flower room wall down. piece by piece. veg room looks massive now. could either squeeze 2 1k lamps and a t5 for cloners... or all t5, 4 of em over the footprint and a 5th for the cloners. flower room will be big enough for 6 to 8 1k lamps. footprint is now there. now its up to affording new equiptment.

just keep pushing with the pace that your at now....To me it looks like its growing nicely with good things comming in the future. I have plans to find a green house location eventually.

Tile looks like the dwc your playing with has some incredible results if your gonna go that route which I'm thinking of myself just for yield reasons look into the waterfarm/aqua farm mods on this page. Ya man about to bust away from tree grows and rock those omega 80 site wheels. I was figuring I could accommodate 12 patients with one $2000.00 dollar investment vs. 1200 per patient that I'm currently doing. I also looked at the b-pods but they are $1500.00 prouder of their 120 site unit. Saw a thread dude is yanking 5 lids per wheel. Anyway to refer to equipment upgrades its always tough cause it seems like that we're total gear hounds. As to veg room I'd like to see you box that with t5 action personally.

it would be the nissan or toyota of the car industry i guess. it always comes down to the good ol chevy vs. some super effeicient import.

i think thats why i am going to have both a standard grow and a coliseum grow...

i can make the most of the standard grow space, filling in gaps with autos.. and having my 12 large girls...

and i can use the coliseum to take care of all the extra cuttings i can produce from the 12 girls, and maybe fill in gaps with autos...

its like, a heavy duty truck for the grunt work, and a little import for the highway miles...

ya bro the collisiums are crazy on gpw. get on it bro. im old school thou. im gonna just run a heavy bud room full of 1kers . now veg room im still bumping some ideas around wheather to do t5's or some serious mh. all distant stuff anyways rolling with wut i got for now. i do want to do something in the bud room like a couple of flood trays. just not sure if i can get the performance im seeing in bubbleponics style. although i saw u can buy a traylid for the flood trays that has netpot inserts, but not sure as to how to run it, flood and drain style or wut. i have enough space for at least another row of 3 lamps all 1k, and that would leave alot of walking room.

I really want some t5s...they seam to veg dense, i think its cause you can get the light so close. Since you have venting and temps under control, plenty of space, and a growing registry....If I was in that spot Id go with the 1k MH/HPS conversions....the versitility for changing your grow around, plus they would be easy to sell if you upgrade.

im really surprised they still make conversion bulbs when you can run either with digital ballasts.. plus i would think it would save one bulb life since you have to change the bulb itself to change spectrums.. or do conversion bulbs last longer?? just curious...

According the the guy I spoke with at HTG...It will save bulb life...the digital ballast. I dont know about spectrum difference...I think its the same...also I use agro bulbs...they have the extra filiment in the bulb. I just like to be able to run either bulb from one fixture.

alright heres an update. on veg side.


ive got my lights finally hung with chain after a year plus with tie wire! using them on some angles i like now. anyway the 2 buckets hold 6 plants total, and there fitting to get cleaned out tonight and go into the budd room with new bud nutes. the rest will stay for another month in veg. the buckets are a month and a day old from aero cloner. as for the orange tub with the huge clones there approximatly 2 weeks old in bubbleponics.. the tub in front bout a week and a half old, and the clones in dirt about 3weeks old from aero cloners...dixie cups in cfls is how i transplnt my intial dirt clones from cloners.

the lil girls scare me a little ... i'd guess not enough Nitrogen and that they are staying too damp.

but the bigger girls all look like they are in excellent health. so as long as ur going from A to B - ur doing something right.

you mentioned a RO system... for 180 bucks on ebay its probably the best piece of equipment you could upgrade with, before upping your lumens even. it couldn't hurt for the clones and the smaller girls.

congrats on the recent harvest, looked like some dank buds. good luck with the expansion plans. another bank of t5's and a couple three more HPS and I think you'll probably be where you want to be.

yes clones in dixie cups werent under the strictest routine, infact outta like 35 of em that i completly ignored i only kept about 15 , sold 14 and destroyed the others . im gonna give a flower room pic up in a sec . long time no hear DG.. ya bro id like to do r.o or at least a tall boy filter i was looking at . but honestly would like to get that 40amp breaker installed and a lighting controller, and switch over to 220 and add 1more 1ker on a light rail, priority 1. now i got space and im overflowing in veg.


okay... so there she be. plenty of space to take a panoramic ..mothers 4 of em, on the right in 2 per 18 gallon tote. then 15 dirt clones in 2gallon containers. i should of put em in 5's but ill sacrafice some yield to save some headache. then 6 clones 1month old , almost the size of 3 month old mothers, in dwc buckets. so 25 of em. should do alright.

oh.. and i like the direction you want to go with things... adding a light and the box and switching to 220 will be a good thing... the tall boy isnt that expensive, so maybe the money will pop up for it at some point... but like we all know, RO is the way to go...
