What? Please don't deleaf your girl, she's just fine. Why would you want to take away some of her energy source when she needs all the energy she can get, especially at this stage of the game?

All you need to get 20 times larger buds is put a photocopy of the sun in your room somewhere you won't believe the difference lol

Yea doing dumb shit makes so much more sense when you use big words

You should always defoliate...if you see green on your plant remove it, and make sure to go ahead and start flushing now..gotta get that white ash clean burnin dank

Sorry just bored...entertaining myself

I saw the thread title and thought GREAT ! Another defoliation thread rapidly devolving into name calling and cursing. Enough entertainment for the whole afternoon !

Leaving disappointed.

Still has potential though.......

If you don't know what you are doing leave them on.

I've seen people do good like that. Not me,I don't know what I'm doing.
I tried it,thought it sucked. Like hitting air brakes on a 18 wheeler.

After experimenting with my plants I find defoliation to be more detrimental than beneficial in most instances. Heavily defoliated 2 of my girls & left the other 2 alone last grow. The buds on the untouched girls were much bigger even though the light did not penetrate as deep. I found when you defoliate you may increase the number of nodal areas thereby increasing the number of bud sites but those buds will be smaller than if the plant is left to its own devices. The buds need those large fan leaves to make energy which increases bud mass. In other words defoliation increases the amount of popcorn bud you harvest.

Cutting the fan leaves is a bad idea. Plants turn light energy into a form the plants can use via photosynthesis. The small organelles that are responsible for this important stage are on the underside of the larger leaves. Remove too many fans and the plant will turn albino and the product will be worthless. Had to toss out a 1/4 lb. of product as they turned white from too much trimming. So trim at your expense. Nice looking sativa you got going there. BigSteve.
