To dome? Or not to dome ? that is the question

I am pretty good at weeding out the bullshit.I do a lot of reading on this site...unhealthy amount lol! Every where I look the boys are saying no domes for grrmination,domes are for clones,worst case remove dome when seedling sprouts.But....what if you Rh is 30 or 25 or 22 as I have seen it the last week.what's the opinions on dealing with extreme low RH and seedlings trying to root .. Grow whatever .And the obvious answer is humidifier but they don't do shit maybe expensive ones do but that ain't happening right this second .I want to know if you have mid 20s low 30 RH and can't change it ,how would u deal with it,is it that big of a problem or can it be that big of a problem when trying to germinate seeds?if so when does it stop being a problem .

I place them in red solo cup, 1/4" in soil and moisten, then drape a wet wash cloth over top the cup. Keeps it dark and moist. I use sandwich bags over top solo cups with soil for clones.

I grow in the Mojave Desert, my rh is rarely over 10% and I clone just fine without a humidity dome. I sprout seedlings in Jiffy Pellets under a dome but remove it as soon as I see them above the pellet having shucked their seed and membrane.

I have really low RH too. Reading around 10% right now. I thought I was really clever when I got the idea of the clear plastic over the red solo, but I'm obviously not the first, lol. You can add holes for ventilation too. Us stoners can get pretty creative.

We have a weiner lmao.Thts very good to know sir ,thank you for you time.That post will be locked in my head for life.I'm Just a whiney little b itch I guess complaining about 25 %RH ,geez

That's how I have always done my clones right there . But with a clear bottom aswelll.never ever had a problem,didn't know there could be one until I started reading here with you fellas.I am just a knowledge feind when it comes to this stuff,I can't get enough .Thanks fellas ,thamks for easing my very disturbed mind lol.I am using a large dome right now with rooters.

yep, i forgot to mention the holes, i cut 2 on the tops as well lol. I also used some painters tape on the seam to keep em together in my room with a fan on

I'm 74 pretty consistantly in 3.5x3.5x4 inch sq pots with ffof and happy frog pearlite mix!! that jive with you?half have been sprouted for 4 days and rest should be up today .and what about the weeks following you like the same temps?
