To feed or not to feed. That is my question

Yeah so still not doing that great…

kali mist is hurting big time

Crispy leaves that break off

The 3 mephistos are doing alright
Sour stomper looks the best of them all; but some leave stress on the lower leaves, some burn marks on the tips towards the top

Skywalker also has some not so nice looking leaves also

3 bears kinda the same deal as Skywalker

The SIP with double grape is chuggin along, drinking a lot it seems.. topped it like a week ago

So my last watering was 3/4 gallon. Tap.

got some decent run off but also just kinda poured it in there quickly as opposed to the much slower watering I usually do.

hoping to do the same thing again either tonight or tomorrow morning as the tops of containers dry

scratching my head over here

Temps have been at a consistent 78-82°F max
RH for some reason has shot up to about 55-60%
was 30-40/5% a few days ago

in unconditioned space; that heater is usually inside to maintain temps

If you keep flushing and you're using organics they won't recover fast enough, use synthetic nutes which will feed your plant immediately. It looks like calcium deficiency.

yeah I do have cal mg I could add to water.
sucks that all these symptoms look like other things too
Although I don’t trust it much. That vivosun pH meter I have was saying my tap was at 6.9-7.0 and I’m pretty certain that’s my areas tap water pH target so I sorta believe the cheap meter

I have citric acid I can pH down the water to a 6.3-6.5 range but idk if I should try that or just Hope soil starts buffering the 7 down to whatever the soil is

I’m also not flushing in a conventional sense as far as watering a lot (like a gallon plus of water to the 3.6gal containers) til there’s an excessive amount of water running out
I’m assuming that’s what flushing really is.
I’d doubt I’m getting more than a few cups worth of run off from each maybe like 20oz water run off per container

Going to read into cal/mg a little more and see if I’m lacking or have an excess of it. I thought I read once you can’t give too much CalMg, of course dosing it in reason to water volume

also going to try a 20/4 light schedule this weekend. See how the temps do in garage

Heavily damaged leaves will never recover and look undamaged unless it was a mobile nutrient that can be replaced by the plant.

As long as new issues aren't occurring and the rest of the plant isn't showing any signs of nutrient deficiencies while you're still feeding them then job successful.

Your leaves are just storage for the buds at this phase so if they are locked out from nutrients in the soil or you simply aren't providing enough nutrients (ppm) then she will do what's needed to feed the buds.

Remember you'll be chopping the leaves off completely either during harvest to dry or after harvest to cure so don't stress yourself too much and stress your plant as well which will stunt the buds.

yes, leaves that are damaged will not look better I have come to realize. The damage has sorta stopped overall but some are showing more lower leaves deteriorating and crisping up

I think I am seeing new growth/progress. Definitely aeronautic in the tent more than ever.
few brushes of the hands over the nugs leaves a nice stick/smell to the hands

i guess I’ll see how this watering goes and do another just water in a few days

I’m just wondering where the lockout/under fed line is cause every search I do about either deficiencies or lock out makes it confusing as to which one it really is

Get yourself a ppm meter and use that before you feed them and in between feedings try just watering enough to get a 10-20% run off and test the ppm and pH of your runoff solution.

As they progress through the flowering stage depending on the type of nutrients you're using and the amount of soil (the size of grow pots) and what each plant/strain shows you they need individually you'll be able to easily dial in and diagnose exactly what's wrong or needed with your babies.

im feeding. Or trying to feed with dry amendments. No liquid nutes on the regular

That's an iron deficiency get your pH dialed in below 6.5 use some micro if you haven't already. And for God sakes don't use a pH pen if you been using one use drops test the run off on the worst affected plants dial in the pH. Use water same temp as grow room to avoid pH balance

Also if your going to run autos just remember if your running 24/7 it's not really economical. I'd go 18 but I won't touch an auto and as soon as something is determined to be an auto in my garden it gets yanked (it's never happened) 12 12 on a photo makes much more sense financially. An unless you have co2 and a sealed room it doesn't make sense to over drive a plant like that.

Not using pH pen, don’t have a good one that I can trust. Waters going in around 70*f That I’ve questioned before and checked cause just straight cold from my tap is at 54*F From what I’ve read, and cause of how I water. Unlikely I’m doing anything bad. Temperature wise that is.

Yes just Google micro nutrient cannabis. just use pH drops. A pen isn't necessary. You think they had pens 20 years ago lol.

Yea running autos for the light schedule and size. Cold garage. Cost in verse what I get out are in my favor 10 fold

It cost way more to run that light then it does to run a heater on thermostat in a tent my theory is why run something 24/7 when you only need 12 even with veg you can get away with a 15 hour light cycle. more power isn't always better. Quite often the opposite of that is true.

Yeah I see where you’re coming from but if everything in my tent in on max power (and it’s not currently) it’s only 600 watts. My rate, 600w/24H running = $2.15 a day to run. 100 day cycle, $215 total Even if I walk with one zip it’s still cheaper then BM or dispo
