Hi people.

first grow, girls about 25th day. Re potted 4 days ago. Moves from CFL 125W to HPS 600W faur days ago.
New soil is plagron grow mix with perlite. Temperature is about 25 Celsius. Humidity 40%. I fertilized once
a 1/4th dosage of Canna Start fertilizer 4 days ago. On Pictures you can see what i see - i think that's burn of fertilizers.

Please advise me - should i fertilize again on next feed or should i believe in the soil (said that it has 3 weeks food).
Thanks!

Update info: i have bought PH meter and it shows my water is 7!!! I also checked humidity - it was 40. Please let me know how can i PH down with domestic things, and about should i fertilize girls? Or maybe i just get some EPSOM salt and dilute in water and spray over girls?

thanks!

Hello and welcome to RIU.
Your plants look pretty good. A few things though, I dont know what kind of soil you are using but that would be good to know. Why I say this is because most soils contain enough nutes for healthy plant growth on its own for the first two weeks that the plant is in the soil, without adding any. Also how often are you watering?

I'm thinking it was sick looking before you transplanted
and fed 4 days ago and since you transplanted the new
growth is looking like it's recovering and getting better
if this is so I wouldn't feed next time I would use plain
water next time because you said you fed and transplanted
4 days ago as long as the new growth is good that's what
you go by~

Hi MrGhettoGrower, yes it looks like it's getting better after transplant. I'll water plants with tap water And ph down as originally water is around +7. No nutes for now. Any idea when
should i try to feed them a little bit?

thanks!

That particular soil says 3 weeks before adding nutes. Just stick with water, it's boring but the way to go. Foliar feeding with soething light is what I do when I get bored and my girls don't need anything. I actually used to use fox farms ocean forest, a similar Type hot fertilized soil, and would get similar results from my baby girls. after switching to pro-mix seed starter, would probably be the equivalent of plagron light or fox farms light warrior, the plants early life become way less stressful, and more green and healthy. Pro-mix specifically says wait a week before feeding, then I jump right in with recommended nute dosages based on labeling with no problems. Early stages of my grows always looked just similar to this, but they always bounced back after like 2 weeks. Switching to the lighter soil for early stages was the ticket, in my experience at least. Plus I can manage the nutes myself and know exactly what they are feeding on.

I used Burpee seed starter mix for a little over two weeks with no nutes added, then I moved to Fox Far Ocean Forest. My plants seem to be doing okay.

Be careful of your tap water as well as it can lead to salt build-up. Can you get distilled H20? No ferts for now and watch for heat issues with the move to your bigger light.
