To fim or not to fim

would the difference in weight be worth the extraa veg time. im torn

If your going for yield and a longer veg isn't a concern then fim early and often

Longer veg = bigger yield every time. U gotta ask yourself is time or yield more important. Most the time scales tilt towards yield

in all fairness im tryin to be dried and cured by 420 and fimming would take my 2 week comfort window away. thats why im askiing if its worth it. as in estimated boosted yield. i would fim 2 weeks before switch. i cant imagine id pull anything like a 25percent increase.

Well you have roughly 13.5 weeks Til you would need to harvest in order to have some dried smoke for 4/20. Depends on your flowering time but I'd say you have at least 3 weeks of veg left unless growing a sativa Dom strain. I'd go ahead and fim but that's me. Aside from increasing your # of top kholas, it would also allow the other branches to get closer to your canopy level as well as increase the all around bushiness of your plant. Dense plants = dense buds

those were good esttimates im flowering at 18in which will be aprox 3 or 4 weeeks but i wouldnt fim for another 3 weeks theyd havve to be at least 15 in. i guesss i shall see what happens.

Why wait so late to fim? I fim'd mine at the 3rd set of leaves, then fim'd the second set of leaves from the branches that took over the top position.
Also, I fim'd another plant around the 7th set of leaves and fim'd another even later. Now, weeks later I would have liked to fim all of them early as possible

becaused i dont have time to fim 3 times. that would add 3 weeks to my harvest and probably be cutting down on 420. i have personal deadlines so im looking for the most efficiant way to proceed within the limits i set for myself. plus id rather contain my light spread within my 6 plants and now produce triple fimmed bushes that my 600 cant cover all of. my room is 5x5x5 but with my equpiment im limited to probably 3x3x5 and 6 3 gallons pretty much covers that.
