Do you mind giving me an example on how you use your kelp? I have an idea from the research I've done, but really wouldn't know how to diagnose and use this as a solution to a problem? I know it's vitamins and micro nutes but would really like to know how to use it and work it into my feedings.
hmmm
there so many reason to use kelp
but It can be over done as it has hormones galore
any time your plants are stressed or need a boost
it could be used to mildly alleviate K def
it could be used to promote root growth during transplant
it could be used to alleviate shock during transplant
the benefits are forver
you just don't want to over apply it because the excessive hormones can do funny things if over done
if its used in a reservoir 24/7 the amount used would be much lower than if you only watered it in 1x per week
personally, an this is just me opinion;
I don't put it or anything organic in my reservior to keep it as clean as possible
I try and run a sterile reservoir and I foliar feed it
the effect from foliar feed is stronger and requires less powder
so itll last forever
you can spray anytime you want a boost or whatever
1/4 tsp/gallon
1 just don't spray 2x in 1 week
1x per week (of either or not both) is about right
and don't use the aminos when your in 12/12
but keep using the kelp until the 2nd or 3rd week of 12/12
I stop spraying anything by week 3 of 12/12
if you want to get a better feel
spray a plant 1/2 tsp every 3 days... watch how the plant reacts... then throw it away if/when it looks weird
