So I'm about 5 weeks from harvest and I need to know if I should flush now or wait. I'm in soil/soilless medium and I'm using a combination of GH and AN nutrients with some extra vermiculite and straw mixed in, like I saw in a video. When I water I use super-wet water with a pH of 5.11 and I have hurricane-like air movement.I don't pet my cat when I look at my plants ( though maybe I should) and I read to them after the lights go out. I'm on a 12/14 light schedule and I don't want to fuck this up. Please help me, now.

Your set up sounds text book. I recommend flushing the top half our your pots only at this time. You can flush the bottom half at a later date.

No worries. I like to put my freshly flushed plants in a large centrifuge type device that I rigged up from an old cement mixer and a 1980 Chevy Deluxe. It really helps get the excess water out of your pots. Defoliates and supercrops at same time. Fucking incredible.

It sounds like you are on the right track, what I would recommend is using a black light during the lights off period. I read it once from someone on the internet that had a plant in flower, so I know it works. Also, febreeze makes an excellent foliage spray, but only for the day before harvest.

Febreze is an excellent idea. I like the Greek Seaside scent or maybe Moonlite Lavender

Lots of photos, lots of video, lots of ACTION!

I'll post them later, I'm in the lab working on a solar-powered hydro set up built from an old washing machine. Just set the spin cycle now and then, huge buds.

Do this flush ur pots and then let and completely dry out for 4 to 5 day then up the nuts a little but will air the fck out the roots and cause the plants to explode

It seems to me that no harm can come from rinsing unused nutes from the medium in the final feeding and having the last uptake be nothing but h2o. If the bowl your smoking burns down to a clean white ash, then you did a good job, and whatever you did you should repeat it.

I flush my plants but only 7 to 10 days before harvest.
A week before that I start lowering the nutes.
The leaves have enough nutes to finish the job. At that late in harvest they are done growing and just fattening up ( hardening up )
The only difference I've ever seen between flushing and not flushing is taste....and that's a big difference in my book.
I also use molasses during final flush.

I know a lot of people say flushing is for toilets...but I don't care.
