so ive read a lot of things about a lot of nutes, and i have come to no conclusions.

i needed something fairly cheap and foxfarms seems to fit the bill. i see a lot of people saying to go with what you think is best, and honestly i dont really know anymore. but i know i need some nutrients so this is a chance to tell me what to do.

what nutrients do i absolutely need for a grow? i am growing in soil.

thanks for your help in advance.

Th have done the job nicely for me. I use Big grow for Veg, Tiger bloom for Flowering. I also add Fulvic Acid, you can usually find it pretty cheap and works wonders. Also check out Eden Bioscience Messenger, both cheap add's that can help!

Fox Farms and Supernatural are good stuff! I like the Grow Big for veg. I use FF three part Beastie Bud, Open Sesame and Cha Ching + Botanicare Sweet for flower. You need Calmag too after plants are about 4 weeks old. I also use Supernatural products. The Grow Big, Sweet and CalMag are not PH buffered but the others are. With PH buffered products you dont have to worry about PH problems. The FF and Supernatural products I use for flower are powdered so they last a lot longer then liquid nutes too! Basically you need nutes for Veg and Flower plus CalMag to help keep deficiencys away and Sweet or Sugar Daddy for vitamins and extra sugars and good water. Good water is just as important as the rest. I use tap water but I add Pond Water Clarifier to make its safe for my plants. It removes the bad stuff but leaves the minerals for my plants. Good Luck!!

Nutrients are personal preference. I use Miracle Grow for veg and Schultz Bloom Plus for "blooming" or flowering cause I'm a simple person. All the different concoctions are for people who want to be extremely detailed about nutrients. You could give it MG the whole time and it would still produce a great amount of bud depending on your lighting. I've done it with MG "time release" soil. Don't be intimated by people putting in 1/2 scoop of this, and 2 scoops of that, it's like a chili recipe or a barbeque ribs recipe: everyone has one, and everybody think theirs is the best. Too complicated if you ask me.

I jsut picked up two packs of nutes from my supermarket for $5.00 each. Peters proffessional one is for orchids (veg 30-10-10) and the other is for "Big Blooms" (10-50-10). Nothin to it.

Man I've been using Technaflora nutes and have been loving the results. I can't believe how frosty my babbies are getting.

Fox Farm does a complete line of nutes. Their liquid nutes are the best for beginners and experienced growers alike IMHO, although Advanced nutrients is a brand that people have alot of good things to say about.

But their line of liquid nutes is awesome, and they also have a COMPLETE line of nutes, with their soluble powder line. They have Open Sesame, beastie Bloomz, and ChaChing, which are good from what i hear - use them in conjunction with the liquid line and your set. They also have the Peace of Mind set of solubles too, but i dont know anythign about them. So Go with FF man, ill throw my endorsement behind it, thats for damn sure ;)
