TO Harvest or Not to Harvest?

i think if you could get 1000W quality/quantity buds without the power or the heat every grower would be using LEDs. I know i would

Yea, I cant plug that into an outlet in my grow room. Try again. LED's are fail versus a 1000w HPS. :)
Again...A PANEL MADE WITH THESE, THEY ARE COMING...6watt LED diodes were released not long ago...and I wouldn't doubt if someone is already starting to make grow panels with them...you'll probably see em on the market within the next 2 months :)

For a first attempt at growing, not bad. Your buds are airy and yield will be minimum, but your plants look healthy and happy. As previously mentioned, the lights you're using are insufficient for flowering MJ. They're great lights for cloning and vegetating small plants, but they don't have the intensity required to produce really dense buds. You'll need to invest in a High Pressure Sodium HID lamp and ballast to get the desired results. I use a 400W Metal Halide lamp for vegetating mature plants and then switch to a 400W High-Pressure Sodium lamp to flower. The blue spectrum of the MH is great for vegetation. The light penetrates well and the spacing between the internodes on your plants will be minimal, providing optimum numbers of budding sites. The red spectrum provided by the HPS lamp will fatten your buds up nicely during the flowering stage. If you've got the means to run a 1000W system, especially during flowering, you'll really see yields increase. Just remember that HID lights burn very hot, so proper ventilation of the grow area is necessary.

Also, if your grow area is very small and the plants are limited in both numbers and size, you may get away with using T5 High-Output florescent. These lights don't require a separate ballast, produce excellent light spectrum and produce little heat so they can be kept close to your plants. However, wattage is minimal, so you'll need to run a bunch of them to get best results. They provide better light penetration than regular florescent bulbs (T8) and with the proper bulbs, provide better light spectrum than HID.
