you see it discharge against the plastic when you move the material around inside, its because a charge builds up in the bud etc.

Electricity doesn't pass thru the plastic, materials like gold, aluminum, copper etc can carry a charge.
that is the definition of being conductive....

Trichomes develop a static negative electrical charge to counter balance the positive charge on the plastic. As the buds scrape against the bag the exposed trichomes break away from the bud and bond with the plastic. As they do this the potency of the smokable bud is lost. The more the buds are handled or scraped across the plastic, and the smaller the bud pieces are, the higher percentage of loss. Large buds lose surface glands but not inner ones. Keeping a baggie in your tight jeans is a bad idea because the bud scrapes against the plastic and gets broken up, exposing more surface area and losing more trichomes.

It doesn't really make much difference it will all work. As long as you get your bud dry within a certain amount of time. What you want to stay away from though, is sealing up bud that isn't fully dry for extended periods.

Trichomes are dislodged on plastic bags by movement of the buds within the bag, when you open or pick the bag up... It's not a great amount even if your fidigity with your bag... I use 5 gallon jars from the Container Store.

I love that place.
I walk around and go, "You could put your weed in there. Or there, or there..."

no need to be sorry nothing bothers me in this world except people who pick on OTHERS FOR THERE SPELLING SOME OF US ARE NOT ROCK SCEINCE TIST I'V GOT A SIXTH GRADE EDUCATION,,, just wanted to hear what others though about cureing...

i ordered mine from Amazon. I think it was about $20 for 6. I think you can order them from Ace Hardware and pick them up at the store.

Why is there no poll if you want us to vote? Jars are the best and only way I will cure. plastic can leave an odd smell and flavor to the buds and they are just a big pain. Jars are simple and add no taste or smell like plastic.
