To mist?, or not to mist?... that is the question.

I've been misting my girls a few times a day, and though they don't show any negitive effect from it... I have been told that it is not a good idea to mist.... I myself love misting my girls... it's like a bonding experience for us =]


So once and for all..... Is is a good idea to mist your girls?.... and why, or why not?

if you are using hid lights it is not a good idea usually because the water droplets become magnifying glasses burning your ladies
 
I'll mist from time to time, but NEVER with my HID on. Like the poster above said, droplets become magnifying lens under hid or sunshine, Think about water spots on your car, it actually "microscopically" burns a hole through your paint.:peace:
 
I mist some on clones in veg before they become well established. Never in the flowering phase - threat of mold.

I'm sure the misting was helping them out at the start, but they are established now.

Thanks again guys... and I guess I will just have to find another way to spend quility time with my girls....... sing to them maybe =] .... lol j/k

I mist them when they are still small but once they veg out a bit I stop. I never mist during flower to prevent mold.

my thoughts exactly.... mist em in the morn and right after lights out....
