To scrog or not to scrog, that is the question

5 x 5 entering the second week of 12/12. Back row of Wedding cookies from original sensible seeds is over a foot taller than the 2 front row Mac Dragon x Bruce banger. Hunting. I bought some lst clips to try and tame them but the clips are too small for the branches. I don't like the idea of my plants being unmovable.
I'm wondering about scrogging the back row only. I mean screen would cover whole tent but only back row going through it.

I would bend them down to horizontal and net/tie them, I find the screen through veg a pia I usually wait until 2-3 week 12-12 then net them_20210927_091925.JPG
It works for me, if you lst/topped during veg you'll be good.

I think it depends on how bendable your stems are. If they hardened all the way already, too late. Anything still soft should be fine to screen, but I’m not there to feel them so can’t give a yes or no

You can fold em over and they still work, you can crush the stem but preferably work the stem between your hands twisting it back and fourth to soften it.

if anything else - it'll provide support for them, I'd do it. Every time I set out with the mindset to scrog and fail to actually follow through - I usually regret it. Like others said, you can make it work by bending/topping/etc.
