To Tent or Not to Tent

I am moving. I get to build a new setup. I have unlimited space. I don't know if I want to use a tent and constrict myself inside the tent walls or if I want to hang panda paper and not use a tent. Using tents I would probably go 10x10 tents and then I don't like overlapping of LED lights creating hotspots. However, I do feel that odor control air exchange, humidity control. All of the factors are more manageable when you have a tent.

I guess I'm asking what do you think? What lights would you try to stick inside of a 10x10 tent? Do you think it's smarter to give each plant its own dedicated light? Should I try to buy a 800 900 w light and stick six plants under it?

I feel that the benefits of tenting are diminished as size increases. If space is not an issue why put the restriction on yourself.
I agree. I use my 3 X 3 tent in a seasonal way. The growing-space can be used for other purposes the rest of the year.

Packing up a 3 X 3 tent and putting it in the attic for storage is no problem, but I'd hate to have to deal with anything much larger than a 4 X 4.

Two lights in case of failure and better coverage
Highest possible ceiling
And no tent
These were my choices

I’d build closets. Better climate, odor and sound control. Main flower closet with path in center for access, 4 lights, dimensions of closet adjusted to light. Additionally, a veg space, and a clone/germ/seedling space. Grow tents were created for people who can’t/don’t want to build closets, the first and best choice.

After a single tent grow I opted to build rooms rather then mess with tents any more. I built them to the size that worked best for my grow at the time and the area I had to use. In the flower area I put up panda film on the walls near the plants to maximize light reflection. The rest of the room was just plywood walls.
