To Tube or Not To Tube(400w)

Been thinkin about gettin a 400w hpsfor flowering, and i was wondering is it more effecient to cool a bulb in the tube or cool it under the hood. Which process do u guys think works better in keepin the bulb cool

I use a tube and it's cooler than any hood I've tried. If you get one, make sure it has the nice wide reflector wing. Some companies like to skimp on the reflector.

Cool and wat size fan would i have to buy, also since temps will be low in the grow area will 1 fan be ok

One 275 cfm inline fan is plenty for 1000w.
