Tobacco Mosaic Virus, any info?

I suspect that I have an infestation of Tobacco Mosaic Virus in my grow room. There is not a whole lot of info on this as pertaining to marijuana growing on the net. I realise that there is no 'cure' for it on already infected plants. However I have 6 ladies in my flower room and 16 in my grow room. Most of my plants seem to be at least partially infected.
From what I have read the signs are mottled, dieing leaves; plants dieing from the bottom of the plant first then progressing upward. Lower yeild on plants that make it to the end.

Does anybody have more info on this subject? Maybe pictures of plants that are infected.

What can I do to minimize the damage and can I save my plants?

Stop smoking Cigs in your grow room! :)

I have never heard of weed plants with this virus. You sure this is what you have? Those symptoms are the same as other regular weed plant probems.
Yes, Pictures would really help.

From what I can gather, you can get it from clones that are infected, even seeds that are from infected plants. Yes, having tobacco in your grow room is not a good idea, and washing your hands befor handeling plants is just good hygene, but it can be picked up anywhere.

Picts of some of my infected plants:

They definitely have some kind of disease. Not sure if it is mosiac though. Every time I have seen it it looks like this with the hooking leaves.

Those sure are some hooked leaves. Reminds me of a mushroom.

ah dont be tripping thats no disease i think there are some bugs munching on your roots though. get 2 swishers and rip em open put that stuff in a gallon of h20 overnight and then water your plants. there is something eating them. and dont fret about the tobacco virus if you do have it this would be the first time in my 4 years to have seen it. AND tabacco wont give your plant the virus, its just named after the plant it most often attacks.

the mosaic virus can infect plants of many different plants, even possibly marijuana. the tobacco mosaic virus means, your tobacco plant was infected with the mosaic virus. Wikipedia says people spray milk on their infected plants to help against the mosaic virus. I don't know about that though, I do recommend foliar feeding with some neem oil and seperately foliar feeding with some beneficials. A healthy plant will have a better chance of fighting off the infection. But i'm pretty sure there is no cure for any kind of virus and your best option will be to get rid of it if indeed it is infected with a virus

I have also never heard of weed plants with this. I've been smoking in my grow room and around my plants for close to 40 years and have yet to encounter TMV, or even know of anyone who encountered TMV. Lots of tobacco grown around here too.

Not to say it can't happen, but I've never seen it.
