Good deal but I would look for an enclosed hood or tube. Starting with control of heat is a good first step. If your space is wide open and a big room that bat wing can work. What do you mean..."mains"

well the room is big enough, no issues with space. i just have no clue about electrics, and how this light set up can be rigged up to the electricity mains, i.e ballast to plug. i've researched lots about the growing of the plant but still in the dark about electrics...

get a good set of 15 amp surge protector and a good 15 amp timer.. hook your surge protector in the main receptical that is in your room then the timer in the surge protector, set your light up on a ratchet hanger (set of 2 for $15. ) helps you adjust height. the other one is for a fan. hook up a line from your ratchet hanger to your fan unless vibrations are not an issue.. i keep my fan pointing at the tops of my plants and my light to keep heat away from my babies.. it's all common since .. KEEP ON GROWIN

it's going to be an area big enough to enclose 2 tasty plants, separated from a larger room with white plastic sheeting (white inside, black outside). i'm just unsure about how it plugs into the electricity mains
