Too cold?

Throughout my veg period i was useing a 400w MH, and my temps stay in the range of 65-85 (off-on).

I just got a new 1000w switchable ballast, and now have a 1000w on them, and just started 12/12, set up my new fan, (424cfm) hooked it up to a vented hood, and have it blowing all the air outside.

My temps are now at a solid 65 degrees
Is this too cold?
is this fan is too powerful for my setup?
I thought i would have heat problems with the small room... turned out to b the opposite.

cmon, is this bad or okay. do i need a space heater?

i keep the heater in my closet at 65 and my plants still grow.

I'm sure they can grow at 45 but what is ideal

should be fine, as the temps go up in summer i would imagine so will your temps, winter might be a problem though.

I like my temperatures to be 70-72 (f) during the night, and no more than 80-81 (f) when they are full height flowering at the max. Plants like a ten degree drop overnight, it makes it feel more like a natural environment, which is what we want to create.

Strange, I try to keep daytime temps around 75 and nighttime around 65. I heard that purple strains prefer colder temps, but i dont see 65 being a prob at all. imo

If you don't vent all of the exhaust outside the grow box and direct some back in, it will warm up.

Works for me.
