Too Early To Top?

It's Been 20 days since I planted in soil.
Is it too early to top?

I'd give it at least a few more days, possibly a week, for the single top to start popping out more from the leaves so its easier to snip off

Should I re-pot before topping?
And should re-pot into 5-gal. or go with the in between size first.
My veg. room doesn't have as much space as the flowering rm. and I will have plants vegging at different stages at the same time.

i think technically you could do it now but its better to wait until the plant has at least 5 or 6 leaf sets. great looking little plant

yea i would transplant it then top it. the less transplants the better.
