Thanks team, lots of learning going on just trying to soak it all in
look into an in-line carbon filter with hose connections on each end. It removes the chlorine from city water while still giving you the convenience of using a hose to water. One last thing... You should harvest rainwater and use that, the ph will be good and it wont have chlorine in it (my town adds chlorine to the water for treatment you can find a water report usually from your town/city/state? to see the amounts of things in your water... To keep it easier.. harvest rainwater (get an IBC tote or something) and that way you can just use that to feed.... If you're using water from your hose, and you grow organic, and your water has a bunch of chlorine in it, you should fill buckets, let them sit open for a day or two outside and let the chlorine off gas... you can stir them every couple hours or throw an airstone in there to speed things up... But that will avoid killing off a bunch of your microbial life in the soil... Sometimes I just water from the hose because I dont have a million buckets and hate hauling it... But my town doesnt add that much chlorine, so in my case it hasnt been terrible... there's enough microbial life to restart if I killed any... better than dying of thirst IMO...
yes brother, its called SCROG!!!As others have said...look up how to scrog outdoors....if this guy can do it on a balcony you can definitely pull it off View attachment 4583212
Yeah I was actually checking those out on amazon a few months ago and forgot about it... Probably would be cheaper than the 200 I was going to spend on a 275gal IBC tote and lines for rainwater. Yeah they really rallied over the last few days and will for sure get another training session in soonYou have to tie those branches down a lot more. Plant on the far left looks like it was never trained. I tie my branches almost all the way down to the ground. I'm not even 12 inches tall yet in the picture. View attachment 4588983
I got two Blue Dreams 1 White Widow Max and 1 White Widow Skunk, growing in Ontario, CanadaHey nice job on these so far! What strains are these anyway ?I have a very similar situation to yours yard /fence /neighbours etc although I pre warned them and said they get to around 10 to 12 ft .
Mine were started early as well first sprout March 1 then transplanted to the ground I dug out all the holes to approx 100+ gallons each long long transition /hardening off like 10 days of shading .
I Fully expect mine to be well over the fence line .
Also what grow area are you in just curious?
such a nice feeling to have nice adult plants at the beginning of the season !
Your going to have a massive harvest !
Even after my first training the main stems split open a bit where they were topped for the fist time is that normal / should I worry about it?You have to tie those branches down a lot more. well, for perfectionists there's artificial bark to close the wound (rubbergum works, too) but usually weed just grows through it well anyway...Even after my first training the main stems split open a bit where they were topped for the fist time is that normal / should I worry about it?
Sorry I can't help but was wondering if you have any recent pics wondering how they are doing height wise ...So many of my bottom fan leaves are going yellow, eventually the brown and fall off. Mostly on the bottom of the grow or middle. Thinking its a N deficiency . I'm growing in 20 Gallon pots and using Pro - Mix mixed with some Perlite and Dolomite Lime and Fertilizing with General Hydroponics Flora Series but its seems like its not enough. Thinking about top dressing some worm castings but not sure if that will fix my issue any other suggestions out there ?

Any recommendations?if it's N def and your leaves are already turning yellow you need a bottled mineralic full veg formulae, not some slow release top dress
