Too hot in the grow cupboard!

Afternoon all.
Started my first grow around 5 weeks ago. The girls seem to be coming along fine but my grow cupboard is getting far to hot! I've got a 600w ballast and HPS and temps are nearly reaching 90 at times. I've got no proper ventilation set up yet as it would mean drilling big holes through walls, just vents at the top and bottom of the door And 2 12" fans on max. Is there anything else I could do, can I get a CFL bulb and plug it straight in?
Help a brother out, I don't want my babies to die☹

You really don't have much of an option there bud. You need proper ventilation for them girls. Even with vent holes you still need a way to pull fresh air in and gonna get real funky if you don't have a plan to exhaust

Cheers mate that's what I thought, some holes to be drilled then!

Also if possible, get the ballast to the outside of the grow area, them get warm. Make sure u add a fan blowing at canopy/bulb level(s)

I keep a little 4" $9 120v fan mounted on all my non-enclosed hoods....

if you're in a rental and have a big round light on the ceiling, thats a good place to extract through. make sure you can screw it back on due inspection and seal it up really well when you leave.
