i have some sprouts that are about 4 inches tall, but theres not that much leaf developement, and the stems are not hardy i have one flourescant that i believe is 14 wat becuase it says 14W, it has been about 2 and a half feet above them, and now it is about 1 foot. do you think it was becuase the light was far away, do they think that they will toughen up, is thisn normal?

That is way too high for CFLs.... you wanna keep those lights no more than 2 inches away at all times....

Get those lights close and hope for the best

Get the light about an inch away, and set up a fan to blow the plant. As the plant gets tougher, increase the setting on the fan... Also, try and get more light... even more flouro's will do... as much as you can...

Way too far away. Thay almost want to kiss that light (couple of inches). Get a little fan (like out of a computer).

if it can grow like the aerogarden commertial says, then leave the lights n tape up some aluminum foil on ur surrounding 3 walls and i garuntee u will be real happy, thats how u get buds growing out the sides instead of jus t the top trust son i dont grow weed much nymore but i do smoke crack and ill tell u something dont ever do it until ur twilight years then smoke alot of it lol peace out sory about being a douche before i was coming down and felt like yelling at some1 but i was all alone that night

Don't even do it in your twilight years... crack is over-rated, and an expensive way to get high.

wow im so glad this turned into a discussion about crack. anyway i have two flouros of that wattage, real close to them in a box with some aluminum on the walls, so they have started to look better.

next thing u will notice you'll be dressed in all with and playin a harp, lol i used bang crack, but i dont look well in white and cant play a harp either ,lol
