Too late to get benefits of transplanting?

Haha ^^^
With the sig, I saw it on a different forum as someone else's sig and thought it was funny so posted it as a joke. No other reasons. I am completely compliant with my medical state's laws so will never be in court. Sorry if you don't like it.

I was in a pissed off mood yesterday and your comment just ticked me off that much more.

As far as transplanting, just wait til it's close to root bound then cut down the sides and lift it up + transplant. Wallah. I've done this with all my plants and only fucked up with one of them because I was rushed and it wasn't the right conditions/not ready to be transplanted. None of them have been shocked. All took to the new soil and began rapid growth immediately, even the one I messed up on a little. All happier than before, reaching up for the light. Bags come in handy.

That is how i transplant out of grow bags. I don't feel so bad for tearing the bag because they are so cheap.

I am still transplanting into the ground. I am culling males and replacing them......with more non-sexed plants lol. im gambling right now

Yeah exactly, if you have to transplant by yourself then the .50 cents the bag cost is more than worth it.

Haha damn man that is too. Best of luck, I hope they all turn out to be females, that would be awesome!

please tell me how you transplant a 20G pot alone?? break that down for me.. do you suspend it by the trunk and tear the growbag off while its dangling in the air? How does an intelligent person do this?
Set up a crane? Hoists? Lay the plant on a side and just tip it over the new whole?

Hey bud a lil edgy today. You need a moderator chill pill:-D Maybe you just cut the sides of the bag off? Not as hard as you would imagine. For the most part a two person job, but I've done it by myself.
yea I guess I was a little unchill, I guess it can be done. I just thought they made big grow bags so you didn't have to transplant. 20 gal of moist soil seems a little heavy to me that's all. plus all the plant that fills the soil. maybe im too gentle when I transplant?

An intelligent person places the 20 gallon pot into the larger container, or ground. Then he cuts the sides vertically, and pulls the resulting flaps down and cuts them off, leaving the old pot bottom in place. Then fill with fresh potting mix.

I got it. still a heavy lift!!
Agreed, it can be heavy. If the OP wants to transplant, let the soil dry as much as possible without wilting. This should get the total weight down to around 50 or sixty pounds. I've done this with a little planning. Two people should have no problem.

didn't mean to hurt your feelings Omni...I don't like seeing bitch ass messages in peoples sigs. Didn't seem like a joke to me.

Just have to man up and quit being a little girly bitch. It's not that heavy... I have a torn labrum with my shoulder having a tendency to pop out of place and I've done it 6 times with no problems so far.. Shit, a 30 gallon bag wouldn't be too bad as long as your not a pussy.
Should I put "Lol" at the end of my sig, would that make you happy... Ridiculous.

Someone please end this thread...

I have to agree. 20 gallons isn't much if you have a decent amount of strength. If you can't lift it, that is fine, but don't assume otners have the same strength level as you. I have chronic back pain and a bad hip, but I still workout and stay in shape enough to lift 20 gallons of soil........dry lol.
