Too late to scrog ?

2.5x2.5x5.25tent 400whps

7 weeks from seed veg
Currently In their final 3 gal root pouch

I have a screen I can toss on top to possible increase yield but I want to flip to flower in about a week.

Is it too late to put the screen on?
Bend some back under the net and do the same for the next week of veg then flip to 12/12 and continue bending the next two weeks of stretch.



8plants total. 5 are confirmed girls
(The ones I'm pretty sure are boys are numbered in the pic)


So it would be a late scrog with most likely 5 plants.
Prolly pull the 3 boys? Ina day or 2
And be left with these


So yea toss a screen on to even the canopy & increase yield ?

do it and give them a little more time to straighten up.

Think I'll put it on today and give em bout 10 days b4 flip

Just took clones and Put a screen ontop gunna veg for another week then flip

Not sure if I shud push the screen lower or not but yerp. Hopefully it'll help increase yield a bit.

I'll also pull off undergrowth and tuck for the next 2 weeks .

I would let them go, they will stretch some after you flip too so figure than in.

Hey YerpGodMArley it kind of depends. How many colas are there underneath the scrog netting that could reach the net? If all your colas have reached the net or at least 1-2" away from the net I would go ahead and flip in a few days. If you still have some colas underneath that could possibly reach the netting it is worth the extra days in Veg to get them to the top of the net ( even if they just hit the top of the netting as long as there is a opening in the scrog for them to get light your golden) Of course you have to draw the line on some colas underneath that will never see the light. So it really all depends on how many colas you want, how long you are willing to be in Veg and if the amount of colas you desire have hit the screen or with a few inches. Also take in consideration when you flip into flower there is a pre-flower stretch period so when you initiate flower do so when you would want a week or more of growth to go in the scrog if that makes sense
